Roles and responsibilities of this job We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Junior Engineer to support the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment in the hydropower plant. Support senior engineers in routine checks, preventive maintenance, and repair activities. Monitor electrical system performance and report abnormalities or malfunctions. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and SOPs during all electrical operations. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records. Collaborate with mechanical and operations teams to ensure smooth plant performance. Participate in emergency response drills and follow protocols during critical incidents. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting electrical system enhancements. Job Specification Required qualifications for this job Required Education Level : Under Graduate (Bachelor) Required Experience : More than 2 years Other Specification Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. 2–3 years of experience in electrical systems, industrial plants, or hydropower facilities (internships and project work acceptable). Basic knowledge of generators, transformers, switchgear, and protective relays. Familiarity with SCADA/DCS systems and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams. Strong understanding of safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with proven ability to comply. Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in field operations and shift rotations. Proficiency in English.
