Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (PMAMP)

Commercial farmers and registered farmer groups or cooperatives operating within a declared pocket, block, zone, or superzone. Up to 40% subsidy on agricultural investment (investment up to NPR 20 million), plus a 10% annual reimbursement for four years after production begins.

Improved Seed & Fertiliser Subsidy

Smallholder farmers with registered land who purchase certified improved seed or government-subsidised chemical fertiliser through approved cooperatives and agrovets. Distributed each planting season.

Agricultural Mechanization Subsidy (PMAMP)

Farmer groups, cooperatives and commercial farms applying for partial subsidy on agricultural machinery (power tillers, mini-tractors, reapers, threshers, irrigation pumps) under the PMAMP mechanization programme.

Subsidised Agricultural Loan (Interest Subsidy)

Registered farmers, cooperatives and agro-enterprises borrowing for agriculture through listed banks and financial institutions. Government interest subsidy of roughly 3–4% for women borrowers and 2–3% for general borrowers on eligible agricultural loans.

Crop & Livestock Insurance Premium Subsidy

Farmers insuring crops or livestock under the government Crop & Livestock Insurance Premium Subsidy guidelines. The state subsidises 80% of the premium for sums insured up to NPR 5 million, 65% for NPR 5–10 million, and 50% above NPR 10 million.
